My name is Dan Auer, and I'm a graphic designer in Greensboro, North Carolina. I've been creating work for wonderful clients since the turn of the century and love every second and tasks included. I'm available for freelance, extended contracts, and full-time positions if the need arises. I'm a product of the Savannah College of Art and Design, a great school on the tipping point of Georgia.
Beyond the background info, I've designed for many industries, including music, retail, information technology, clothing, photography, and other fine creative fields. Work of mine has ended up in places such as Target, Hot Topic, and Best Buy. I've been fortunate to help towns with booklets to be passed out locally and the United Nations to pass out publications to educate people towards nonviolence. More importantly, I want to help you in just the same way. No matter how large or small.
Feel free to email me with any questions, concerns, or if you'd like to jump right into a new project! Find me on any of the social networks I'm linked to as well.
In tradition with the oogling eyes of designers, here's a bit of what's under the hood:
This site has been created with the obvious: markup, stylesheets, and behavioral syntax. The color of the logo is Pantone process cyan, matte I believe. The background color was taken from a red-orange compliment to the logo and taken further into a chromatic gray. From there, a grayscale was used everywhere else for the site.
Typography, set in Univers 47, 57, and 67 for headers and sub-headers. Body copy should be showing up in some variation of Times, depending on the operating system you've chosen to view the site in. All copy was set according to the Fibonacci sequence (13, 21, 34, 55, etc.).
